LogiBoxx and EarthSearch - new and revamped brands
We have had some major changes at EarthSearch, and our product portfolio. With the completion of the deal with East Coast Diversified Corporation, EarthSearch is now an ECDC company.
So, it made sense for us to reintroduce ourselves to the world. Technically, we're still EarthSearch Communications International, but since the bulk of our customers (and indeed, even our employees) call us "EarthSearch", we felt that the time was right to revamp the logo to reflect that.
As you can see, the logo is dramatically different from the old logo, and we feel it better ties into our other brands. We'll get to those brands in a moment.
The EarthSearch logo's graphic element on the right is intended to convey a couple of things. First, it is a stylized "e" and "s" which ties into our name. But it also is intended to convey the earth, with the red rounded element. The "s" part is intended to speak to the satellite tracking aspect of many of our core solutions, as it reached out from the earth into the skies above. Lastly, as we're about to show, the colors tie into our core product offerings for LogiBoxx and GATIS.
Speaking of LogiBoxx and GATIS, you can see by the logos above that the colors tie into the EarthSearch ones - this will allow us to have a consistent look in our branded marketing materials. As far as the names and shapes, LogiBoxx is the name for our Intelligent GPS device which also communicates with our line of RFID readers and tags. Since there is logic built into the hardware and a number of customizable sensors which can trigger specific actions, we wanted to create a name that reflected what the device does, as well as being easy to say and remember. The "i" element has rings radiating from it to convey the signals it sends and can receive.
GATIS, which stands for Global Asset Tracking Identification System, is the web-based software component of a LogiBoxx Certified Solution. Much like a computer's hardware needs an operating system to be truly useful, GATIS is what allows the LogiBoxx's information to be viewed in the operations centers of our clients, as well how our clients can act upon that information. The GATIS logo sports a stylized "G" under an arch that is intended to convey the Earth's horizon. That "G" element also serves as an eyeball under a lid which is to convey the notion of Continuous Visibility - a big part of our promise to our customers, which is "Continuous Visibility of Your Stuff in Real-Time, All of the Time."
