In its Form 8-K filed with the SEC on January 6, 2010, East Coast Diversified Corporation (ECDC.OB) disclosed that the Company's principal shareholders, owners of a majority of the Company’s issued and outstanding shares, entered into a Securities Purchase Agreement with Mr. Kayode Aladesuyi, CEO of the Atlanta-based EarthSearch Communications International Inc. (EarthSearch), a Delaware Corporation on December 18, 2009. Prior to the closing of the Share Purchase Agreement, which the parties expect to occur during the first quarter of 2010, the Company will enter into a share exchange agreement which gives EarthSearch a controlling interest in the public company. According to Kayode Aladesuyi, CEO of EarthSearch, "This is a new phase for our business and it presents us with the opportunity to expand our operations as a public company."

iGPS has the ability to talk to passively readers, deliver real-time location information, tag activity, and generate alerts about discrepancies in asset movements. Also, iGPS is capable of communicating directly with active tags. EarthSearch Communications is creating a family of active tags with rechargeable batteries, embedded with GPS chips, capable of providing precise location information for the monitoring and tracking of assets and people. Some of the battery powered tags will also include GPRS technology and can be installed in containers, bins and returnable pallets. Container Tracking Padlock |
TrailerLock is an innovative, mechanical, battery powered padlock embedded with RFID, GPS, and GPRS for remote container, bin, and pallet tracking. The TrailerLock device is powered by batteries capable of lasting up to 90 days. It can be programmed to communicate based on event triggered alerts or continue communication each hour of the day. The lock will record and transmit every location/event, and send alerts of undesignated stops by a driver. The device will routinely send its location each hour and automatically record all pertinent data about the shipment including, remote monitoring of temperature sensors placed within the container.
